Ok, the 50-something women in the theater really enjoyed this movie. If you're not one of those, you should probably buy an ABBA's Greatest hits CD and see a different movie. I (dutiful husband) thought the movie was boring. My wife found the characters unappealing but enjoyed the story and music. Rent this one on a Sunday afternoon and take a nap.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Lots of laughter in the theater

I've been waiting a long time for a remake movie of an old show that was at all good. Finally. This movie includes several gags from the old show and includes some more modern humor too. It wasn't just the 13-year-olds and 40-something men who never grew up that were laughing. People of all ages and types were enjoying this movie. I want to see it again!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
