How do you spell 'Rip-Off'… ? I spell it A-V-A-T-A-R. James Cameron and company should be charged with grand larceny - so many of the really good films of the past 30 years simply got bits and pieces spliced together for a super contrived story line and used as an excuse to produce this 'new' film. Are you watching Star Wars, Aliens, Dances with Wolves, Apocalypse Now ... or what? I'll grant Cameron the eye candy effects, but Geeze, he even purloined Sigourney Weaver .... For all the effort put into the new technology I simply expected more. It just goes to prove, effects can't trump a good story...
No, I do not recommend this movie.
