The good: Henry Cavill is a great superman. Loved Russell Crowe too.
The bad: The whole movie was one big battle scene. Way overdone. Where was the plot and character development? Did not like the flashbacks. Felt like an afterthought. Would have liked to see the story in more sequential order with more time spent on Clark Kent and family and less on the destruction of the city that went on and on and on and on...
(Spoiler) Plus, I thought Superman and Zod were both indestructible. How did Superman kill Zod simply by breaking his neck? Bombs couldn't kill him but a simple twist of the neck and... Very unbelievable. I love action and big loud movies, but that's all this was. Could have been so much more.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
