Being a country music fan, I expected to enjoy the movie but was really surprised by Jeff Bridge's performance. Haven't seen him in anything in a long time. The guy can act. I didn't believe Colin Ferrell as a country singer tho he certainly can sing, as can Bridges. Maggie Howeveryouspellit did a great job too. All in all, it was an enjoyable uplifting movie,

Worth the extra bucks

Our family really enjoyed Star Trek and especially enjoyed seeing it in the IMAX theater. the digital imagery was great and the sound felt like we were right there.
