Action without junk.

Action, professionally served. Cruise, whose hand is everywhere in the production, obviously cares for the series. Photography from on high is stunning, taking you with Cruise on his hi-tech Stunts Impossible. And he winces when hitting the ground, perhaps because age is creeping up on him. True to the spirit of the series, the tension is non-stop, breathless -- a feast for the holidays and a tough act to follow for all those action films coming in January.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
