Awesome movie...true to the book. Beautiful cinematography. Took the kids (10 and 13), the husband (who had not read the book), the aunt and the grandma. Everyone loved it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We intended to go to another movie, but it was sold out when we got there. This movie was the only other one playing at a similar time, so we went to it instead. I am so glad! We laughed a lot throughout the movie. It was entertaining from start to finish. Some parts are unbelievable, but it was very enjoyable.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I loved the book and was concerned that the movie might not be as good. I shouldn't have worried. The movie is excellent. The acting is stellar. There were some touching moments throughout the film. I was most surprised how many times I laughed. The actresses were able to bring the characters to life and make the situations believable. When they cast Emma Stone as Skeeter, I was surprised. In my mind, she was a teen film actress. She was great in this roll. Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer were also amazing. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. However, I'd read the book first. It's not necessary, but it was such a great book I'd hate for anyone to miss it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
