The latest installment of the Twilight Saga was directed by director David Slade who also directed 30 Days of Night and Hard Candy. So you would think it would be a good fit, right? No! Eclipse was laden with scenes that had no pay off and seemed both hurried and lingering. There was no proper build up to the final fight scene with Victoria and the romance felt forced and strained. The film needed and overall hall to the script and definitely could use a new edit.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
