Great family movie!

Don't miss Secretariat....one of the best movies of the year. Although we all know that Secretariat won the Triple Crown, details about the situation Penney Tweedy found herself in, her selection of Trainer and Jockey, and the excitement of the races, will keep you on the edge of your seat. Great for kids, too.

After all the hype, we expected much more. Don't waste your time. It was boring and corny from start to end...a real disappointment.

A Real Downer

Don't spend good money on this very depressing movie. Wait for it on HBO or Netflix. Anybody who travels a lot for work can identify with this pathetic traveler.
Again, if you're looking for a dark movie with a sad ending, then spend your money. But, if you want to be entertained in a positive, uplifting way, there are many other great choices, like The Blind Side, etc.
Academy Members, if they award this one an Oscar, will be way off base and out of touch with the movie-going public.

Laugh Out Loud

This is no "Citizen Kane" or "Gone With The Wind," but for 11/2 hours of a laugh-out-loud diversion, this can't be beat. Don't expect an Academy Award for "Extract" but you will be telling your friends and neighbors about it. Watch for Ben Affleck's performance...we didn't recognize him until after the movie. And we can all relate to the nosy neighbor!
