I thought the movie was great. It was years ago that I read the book so I don't know if there were any significant changes. There was some humor that got me laughing and also some sadness that led to tears for me (even though I knew what was coming). I would recommend this to anyone.

To me this is one of the best movies that Tyler Perry has made. The story was well thought out. It had great actors who played the characters well. The movie wasn't perfect though, but thought it was a really good movie.
