For someone not astute in movie magic, you probably won't see the plot unfold, so go see it. Special effects ok, acted well, some did better than others.

there are a few moments that may be scary for small kids, but overall very good movie. All the witches were well played, and the characters were believable.

This Generations "Star Wars"

Althought I am not a true HP fan, my kids have grown up with this franchise. This movie was good and followed the overall themes. My daughters have read all the books and are anxiously awaiting the second half....definetely a must see.

I went to see what I thought would be a funny movie given the cast....wait till it's in dvd to see it...that way you can fast forward a lot.
