Well known (and good) actors, grimly fascinating disaster, uplifting story, Why isn't this well-done film a bigger headliner? I particularly love the young actor Tom Holland, who in any other year that doesn't have Daniel Day Lewis, Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman on the menu, should be considered as having turned in one of the best male performances of the year.
Gut wrenching special effects and camera work, super art direction, really "bring you there." So glad I caught it before it goes away.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, great special effects, great camerawork, great art direction
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Dead dog. Fell asleep during "action sequence" . Twist not worth the waiting for Depp and Jolie to wake up. I assume they are paying bills with this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Disturbing AND superficial at the same time.

Somehow the producer managed to pull together credible actors for a miserable script. Definitely NOT worth seeing.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Challenging

Whether I'd recommend to a friend, would really depend on which friend. It is a challenging movie which starts to hint at the journey you will take right from the beginning (green poo is involved.). The fantastical, dreamlike events that happen almost tip over into completely implausible, but the phenomenal acting keeps disbelief well in check.
It makes you think about your existence, and forces one to consider that both possibilities can be true, that life is full of meaning and also completely random and absurd.
I did have to run to my dictionary to "get" the title, which is truly apt. Not being able to pronounce it ,though, might be an obstacle to more people actually going to the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
