I wish I could give this marathon 4.9 stars. Four stars for each of the original movies and .9 stars for the opportunity to watch them all together in the theater, but with a deduction of 0.1 stars for the terribly disappointing fifth installment A Good Day To Die Hard. The movies all looked and sounded great in their digital presentations. I hope 20th Century Fox and other studios keep the new trend of franchise marathons going because I think it's a neat idea. Just unfortunate when the new installment in the franchise doesn't live up to even the least of the other movies in the series (my previous least favorite was Live Free Or Die Hard, which is a masterpiece of modern cinema when compared back-to-back with the new one).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
