Wonderful atmosphere! Kept my blaze husband entertained for over two hours and even Avatar could not do that. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. were great together and the female actors truly added to the story. This was mainly an introductory story to the sequel, where I am ssume we will see some real Doyle stories. Made my 14 year old want to start reading the books. Cannot ask for better than that.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

For fans - a must see! For non-fans, can be a little tedious at times, but still an entertaining two hours; at least you do not feel like checking the time constantly wondering when it will all be over. They are young actors and some performances were more convincing than others. Jacob, the werewolf, was outstanding in conveying teen angst for someone under more unusual circumstances than normal.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
