There are so many things that one can say about The Dark Knight. The first thing I would say is that you definitely shouldn't be taking anyone under 12 to see it. As much as I loved Burton's and Jack Nicholson's crazy fun take on Joker, -this- is what Joker is really about in the comics. He's evil, sadistic, and yet has a playful side at times. The movie captures Joker's personality perfectly, as well as the ensuing chaos of the city he besieges.
Perhaps my only qualm with this movie is that it is less about Batman and more about what is happening around him. However, since Begins focused so much on Mr. Wayne, to see what else is going on in his world was a welcome change.
With Iron Man and now this, the bar for superhero movies has been raised precipitously high. Way to go, Nolan & Crew!
