Deviations and Technical Difficulties

I was disappointed with the storyline of this movie. The fight scene included in the movie is not the fight that was in the book, and the timeline of this movie was so mixed up that I had trouble following where they were supposed to be within the book.
Also, about half-way through the movie the film overheated and caught fire causing our theater and the theater behind us to lose about 10 minutes of the film as it had to be cut out to patch the reel back together.
I don't think its worth seeing a second time to get back the 10 minutes. If you aren't a fan of the films or the books, wait for DVD and rent it instead.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This is by far one of the best action/comic book movies of all time. While the originals get points for maintaining the gothic style of the comic books, Dark Knight far surpasses them in substance. The psychological and moral dilemmas made this version much more appealing to a broader audience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
