if you've never read the books then you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. it has many great visual effects that are outstanding. however, any true harry potter fan will be disappointed. there are many differences between the book and movie. the film also sets it up for many disputes in the seventh movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
