Twilight: Read the book before watching!

May be one of the best adaptations from book, to movie. Ever. The fact it's getting higher reviews from readers than non-readers (where that's usally the opposite case) is a sign they did a great job at keeping the most important factors from the book intact.
Went to the showing last night with my husband and two friends (we've all read the books) we were expecting to be let down, but we all enjoyed it very much!
Does jump fast from topic to topic, & couldn't have hurt to add on an extra 20-25 minutes...but definitely: READ THE BOOK FIRST. Due to it's jumping around, there's not much explanatory storyline for those not in on some of the nuances of the relationships between characters.
Would have given it a 4 1/2 if I could!
