The incorporation of all the characters to fit in the alternate plot was well done. Acting was superb and the soundtrack left you feeling the emotion of each piece. This is one of the best movies I have seen thus far that was able to span generations of both original trekkers and modern sci-fi fans.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Besides outstanding visual effects and a suspenseful plot, the actors were supurb in their renditions of the comic book characters. The social implications hinted at in the movie provided a balance to the action. Hands down, a remarkable movie. Ledger, rest his soul, truly went above and beyond the portray accurately the way the Joker was meant to be seen. Two-Face was my favorite as the transformation from Dent to him was beautifully done.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
