Great Acting, Poor Film Direction

This movie had a lot going for it.
1. A great storyline that led to a fairly decent script.
2. An all-star cast who excellently portrayed their characters.

It really blew it with the camera direction. The movie was made with all hand held cameras. Many of the scenes were dizzying, shaky and spinning. There was extreme close ups of the actors faces and odd shots of their back sides or peoples feet.
Several times I had to turn away from the movie to refocus and stop my stomach from churning.

The only reason I did not leave prior to the movie's end and ask for my money back was that I am a huge Johnny Depp Fan.
I would recommend getting this movie as a Rental . It's something to see but not in the theaters.
