Even though it did stray from the book, I thought the movie was great. It left out what needed to be with out losing the feel and love for the true story. I think all characters were wonderful and played their parts very well. The love story is what mattered and I think they passed that on and left us waiting for the second movie "New Moon". Cannot wait fo the release of that now!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
