Educational and very funny!

I went and saw this movie opening day with my 10 year old son. We have the original movie and have watched it numerous times because we just love it. This movie is filled with so many hilarious actors...Hank Azaria, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Ricky Gervais, Jonas Brothers as cherubs(voices), Bill Hader (SNL), and many more. That alone made the movie worth seeing. The history you learn from the movie is also exciting and good for the kiddies.
I am not so sure that the plot is as good as the first one, but it is still a great movie that everyone will want to go with the family and see this summer. It was especially awesome to see at the Imax.

Great movie for the grown-ups!

Not for the kiddies! I was really scared of the Joker!! Heath Ledger did an awesome job of making you laugh yet sending chills up your spine at the same time. The movie had the gotham city darkness you would expect...so not one you would want to take a child under the age of 13 to. Christian Bale could not be a better leading man playing the Dark Knight. He was just great. Maggie was good...but I would have liked to see Katie Holmes back. Movie was very thrilling and you never knew exactly what to expect next. Would want to see again...lots of murmuring amongst the bad guys in parts. But, no worries, you always understood the plan. But, overall best movie in a long while. Ironman makes a close second.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
