What the target group was looking for.

My six year old had been counting the days down until the release of this one. He has been an avid fan of all the Star Wars and spin-offs since age two, and now has been reading the comic/animated books from the library. He knew how this story unfolded from the moment the movie started. ( I took my son and a friend of his to an afternoon showing in Digital HD projection) The action rolls nonstop, and my son even held his pee through the whole movie! Both he and his friend were quiet and kept there eyes glued to the screen. This film was not intended for the die hard old school Star Wars fans. It was meant to be something to rouse interest in all the merchandise. Good family fun, and tolerable for the adults escorting young children.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
