I watched the original Star Trek series as a child. Seeing the younger versions of the characters was so much fun. Knowing the story line in the future made it that much more enjoyable. The only thing left out that I wish had been included was seeing Christine Chapel. Other than that, I thought it was perfect. We saw it in an IMAX theatre (had been waiting to see it there since seeing a trailer several months ago) and it was fantastic. I am now officially a Trekkie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
