We sat down and all of the sudden the movie ended - and we realized that we had not moved for over 2. hours. We still had all the popcorn and candy left because there was not a minute to think about food - just what was on the screen! Minor book discrepancies that happen with any book adaptation - but true to Rowlings... loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Honest appraisal from an indy FAN

It starts off a little bit... different. Maybe a little forced, as opposed to the "Indy" of days past. But it warms up about 20 minutes in and you definitely get the Indiana Jones feel.
I dont care for Shia in general, however he does a great job and I might start to look at him as a real actor.
The story lines take a bit of an unusual turn and it gets more corny than the previous 3. But there are some real laughs and great action. Well worth waiting until 12:01 midnight to get in...
