Not Your Typical Princess Movie

For all of those anti-Disney princess types, Tiana is your girl. She's not helpless and doesn't really need to be rescued. She's got dreams and goals and she will get them one way or another. The music makes you want to tap your feet and the animation is gorgeous. The shadow man and his friends on the other side may scare little ones, but overall this is a solid movie about a girl who just happens to become a princess.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
