Man, this was like going back to junior high playground. The "guys" are just learning how to use bad words, phrases and grammar, oh my, and we're like cool. oh.... and i bet the NP pool diving was a body double.

A contrived, slapped together collection of actors and bits trying to coattail the real work of a John Wayne Great. Just another Hollywood excuse piece to allow their peers to vote each other awards. Wooden Acting, extremely contrived tortuous monotone dialogue where they might just as well have been reading one of the presidents teleprompters. instead of using TOTUS they were using TOAD(teleprompter of actor dialogue). The so-called period speech slang tried to have you believe true pioneers/wild west, barely educated settlers spoke constantly as if they were at a university "TEA". See it on a rental or TV.
Exceptional cast & story turned inane-juvey. Can’t figure out if its a serious story, comedy or frat party. Touches of Hollywood snobbery & frat boy-girl antics. NYC to Sitka, of course displayed as a desolate people barren hicktown. Entertainment: 1-man bumbling, mumbling clown strip show for women & he is also the only city services rep. Walks in “Town” by the characters show them as the only ones on “mainstreet” or even on the docks(in a fishing port!??). Then we have the grandma who does the usual Hollywood goof communal dance with nature. Of course Sandra gets involved with her disco(?) version. Story, cast has great potential, gets off to a good, intriguing start, keeps dragging us into a Hollywood script written by frat boys & girls.
Boring Bond,,, where is the fun, non-chalant, wise-cracking, tough-guy of previous bonds.... even Pierce was better. The action is fun if you like the new cheap action stroboscope cinematography styles. This is the action technique where you get strobed from scene to scene and never really get to see anything. I bet the directors like because they only have to stage difficult scenes then take a snapshot and setup the next staged shot. Then.... where was Q? What a boring bond, no smirks, jokes, comeback quips,
Too bad the 1st ten minutes couldn't have been the whole movie. Just another nickleodeon type of soft cartoon movie. Definitely not another cars, ratatouille etc... Puffy old John T as a puppy dog just didn't cut it, Miley was tolerable, the hamster had more character than either.
