I am a huge fan of the books and was somewhat disappointed at the adaptation. There were things that seemed disjointed If you didn't already know how intense Bella and Edward were you may miss their true characters. Some things would have been better of to have stayed true to the book. But, after having a couple of days to think about it I still believe it was a good movie. I thought Edward and Bella were very good together. Alice was great and also Emmett. Jasper was a little freaky though. Rosalie was sort of what I had pictured. I will go back to see it at the movies again and have recommended it to friends. I hope that the future movies are truer to the books even if they have to be three hours long.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
