Playing it a little too safe

To qualify this as a female-driven The Hangover is an insult to females and an insult to The Hangover. The movie stands on its own quite capably, but just seems to play it a little safe and we never truly get to know the majority of the characters. While the movie plucks at your heartstrings it also manages a few belly laughs. And honestly it's just a few sound effects away from being pure comedy gold.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
