Fun For Children and Adults

Solid animation and excellent action sequences. Storyline was good and the voice-overs were perfect. Safe movie for kids and enough humor for the adults to get a good laugh. Ending is better than the usual cheesy endings. Well-written. Definitely will be buying on DVD when it is released and might even go back to see it in 3-D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Budget Spent on Effects, Not Acting

G.I. Joe was a great action flick. No dull moments in this one. The special effects were excellent. This is obviously where they spent the budget. The acting could have been better. A sequel is definitely deserved and expected.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I grew up watching the original series so I have an appreciation for the nuances of the original injected into this sequel. The matrix was a nice touch and Bumblebee kicking some tail was cool. More action and fight scenes in this one. Also more Megan Fox. Duh. Definitely worth the big screen view at least once. More comedic lines as well. Good laughs. Good action. Lots of overt innuendo. The PG-13 rating is right for this movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Well Done

I love the Super Hero movies. However, some have been less than satisfying (see Punisher). Some movies end up being too much like a comic book in the production (see Batman & Robin). This one was none of the above. It was well worth the price of admission. Good writing and a spectacular cast gave this flick plenty of life. I took my 8-year-old daughter to see it. Yes, despite the PG-13 rating, I took the chance. Other than a brief moment of adult content in the beginning, the rest was fine. I'll be buying this one when it is released.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
