Marvelous as ever!!! To be able to see/hear Domingo in this towering baritone role was a pure delight! No interruption of the "feed" from New York at least in Altamonte Springs, FL.
I just wish the audience was younger......at 66 I I brought down the average age in the 60% capacity house.........sad but true, opera is on a slow death in the US........but at least it will be around for the rest of my life! Maybe I'm wrong.....that's why I support the Met each year.

Dessay & Florez Are A Perfect Match

What an incredible combination of talent and energy between the two principles in this "off the wall" situation! These two fabulous talents play off each other to near perfection.......if you missed it......don't forget the reprise later this month! While the Zimmerman setting was a bit "goofy" and somewhat difficult to tie to the story line, the talent of the stars and the overall quality of the supporting cast together with the Met orchestra provided a terrific afternoon of enjoyment!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
