A fun action movie, not at all true to Sar Trek genre. Similiar juvenilization to the Star Wars prequel that goes beyond the neccessarily young cast.
Typical lack of respect for meaningful plot endemic of most sci-fi movies which translates as lack of respect for the audience.
Basic time travel conventions that usually help to at least try to limit the confusion of time travel plots cutely ignored in the interest of having Leeonard on screen.

Another example of the low ratings producers give audiences. Dont they think we notice when plots dont make any sense? Yes we go for the action and drama -which were good and well acted, but with just mabe one more day of brainstorming the plot by the writers it could have made sense. Id love to say how but dont want to spoil it by giving too much away of the pointless plot- you may still want to see it for the acting, action and cg.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
