Universal conflict

Melvillian good vs. evil. The simplistic colonel, supervisor and hive of humans clash with Pandora's complexity. That's the plot and the audience's problem. "Avatar" creates another world for Cameron to be king of. Pandora, and the 8-foot tall blue Neytiri, are breathtaking beauties. Viewers can interpret the plot any way they want since allegory sprouts more extravagently than the planet's ripe life. Ultimately Avatar remains Earth-bound by the presumption that acquisition is the ultimate goal. The Na'vi with the nicest banshee gets the girl.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
