Minor flaws - mostly enjoyable

I wanted to give 3.5 stars; Could have been 4 if they cut a few songs towards the end (really slows down the pace for no good reason) and some unwanted stuff.
It is not a true Rajini movie, but he does exactly the same unbelievable stunts that he would normally perform as a human (except that he has the excuse of being a super robot!). But the Rajini that impressed me was the bad guy Robot. For those who have seen Rajini since his beginning as a villain (dating myself here), he was the good old Rajini. Ash was tolerable and Shankar did not do his usual 'one man' who fixes all the world problems.
The build up and the way the story unfolds is good. I would like to say the Indian movie has come of age technically - until I saw the end credits and not a single name was Indian. So, we just imported good technical skills. All we have become good is in spending the money!
Fun watch - if you don't want to think.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
