Movies have been reborn!

Back in the days of flickers, this was the dream! James Cameron's name will be remembered with Edison's for the pioneering spirit that brought the movies into a new era.
I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I was awestruck! This Real 3D experience was the absolute mind-trip of my 50 years of movie watching life. The wait for the technology was worth it as a far away planet breathes with energy, love, wonderment, danger, and hope.
I cannot wait to see it again and again.. Bravo! Bravo!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Special Effects Oscar Quality

Watchmen is a feast for the eyes! This movie IS a graphic novel come to life.
The R rating is well deserved, for violence in places and brief full frontal shots of Dr. Manhattan but also some very steamy man/woman encounters. (Take notes; your girlfriend will love you for it!)
Best are the incredibly rich characters. I learned to care about each one of them; the eye candy, the nerd, the scum ball, the bad boy, the god, and even the brain all have good reasons for what they do. Each are very humanly flawed in this alternate reality scenario. And yes, they do save the world in superhero fashion - just not in a way you might expect.
I will be seeing this rich, colorful take on fantasy again in the theater as soon as I can.

Colors - fantastic! Not your old time red/blue glasses so the effects were simply jaw dropping.
STAY TIL THE END OF THE CREDITS ! ! !
But don't take anyone younger than about 10; some rather scary, possibly nightmare inducing scenes. Excellent for tweens through 100's ! Better than Viewmaster!
Wished I could watch it again right now - so much to see! Go see the 3D if you possibly can.

Incredible Theater Experience

You've seen and heard all the hype. IT'S NOT HYPE! This movie has everything a movie buff like myself wants. I love Gary Oldman; he truly shines as Gordon. And Heath Ledger's Joker is the scariest villain since Leatherface wielded his Chainsaw in the Texas Massacre! I was stunned.
Plenty of gadgets, the beautiful/rich, the very bad, and even a lesson for society without pushing our face in it. You MUST see this movie in the theater - it's that good!
