Phenominal Comic Movie, probably one of THE best to date. Story plays out well considering the surprise after credits. Downey Jr as Stark is SPOT ON hilarious/cocky as Stark is meant to be. Much to my surprise, Mark Ruffalo was MORE than an exceptional change to the Banner character. He not only played it dead-on as the reluctant scientist type as is penned in majority of comics thru the years, but he does it with a knack that even as a fan of Norton, I have to give the "Thumbs Up" to Ruffalo, a Superb Banner/HULK character. The toned down regard to Captain America was a bit of a disappointment but the Unleashing of Iron Man and HULK in the fight/battle sequences is more than enough to sate that till the sequel. Thor is done quite well, better by far than in his stand alone intro film. A PRIME way to spend two-two and a half hours either with the family/kids or alone and well worth the price of theater tickets today!
Pros well paced, great actors, great action/fight scenes, well placed humor, acceptable material for entire family
Cons a dim spotlight on a very important character
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best Slasher/Horror Wrap-Up of All Time

Finally! A horror series does it right and wraps it up loose ends and all without a hitch. Originally slated for 6 titles, due to some internal glitches with crew/actors/contracts we had to wait for a 7th. WELL WORTH the wait by all means. Aside from the still gimmicky 3D nonsense that's going around as of late this is a great finish to one of the ALL TIME BEST Horror/Slasher Series' Ever. If you're just another Gorehound, this will also delight you as well. Granted there's always a slight opening for another film in these situations but, as an original story and plot this is a great Icing to the cake. Although the running time for this film is a meager hour and a half, they did a great job of recapping the earlier films' main points and turns, along with wrapping all the mess that is Jigsaw's master plan into a nice comfy little package that for a nice change in today's genre, is NOT stupid and typical. Enjoy folks it was well worth the agonizing wait and extensive sequels!
VERY fine job on an great old license and well loved icons of our past. Transformers 2 is pretty phenominal in my opinion. Although some things are still being jumbled here and there story-wise, (forgive us nerds as we are very picky, lol) the action, comedy, family friendly, yet intense approach to one of my favorite childhood memories is QUITE dead on. I have been overly anxious to see this installment since the release of the first movie and this did not in any fasion disappoint as far as what has normally been done by Hollywood to great licenses' & the oppurtunities brought by them. Enjoy this great sequel with the entire family and not be bummed one bit. Well, aside from when the credits finally roll, cuz then it's over :( lol.
