Overall, a great movie! A terrific origin story for Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock. Chris Pine and Zachary Quintos were outstanding as Kirk and Spock. The supporting cast was excellent. Special effects and action sequences were not overdone...all in all, a credit to the Star Trek history. I look forward to the sequels, which will depend, in my opinion, on holding on to the outstanding writers here. Don't let them go! As a long time trekker, I noticed some minor discrepancies, but not important enough to take away from the overall quality of the movie!
