Good movie, lame theater

Took two tries to see this at the Rave 18 cinema in Marina del Rey. Halfway through the first attempt, there was an unscheduled fire drill! Someone had pulled the fire alarm, and the management couldn't figure out how to shut it off, so they issued refunds and called it a day.
The movie itself? Quite good! I'd go to 4.5 stars if I could. Cerebral for an action flick, though not deep (and way too expository in parts), and features some groundbreaking visuals you'll see again in lots of imitators. (Remember Bullet Time after the Matrix came out? Like that.) Deserves to make money.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
