I had a little trepedation when I entered the movie theater with my six and nine yr old it had been many decades since i watched the cartoon and i didn't no if the movie was going to be targeted entirely for a younger demographic but i was pleasently surprise even though there was a heavy dose of computer animation and special effects the movie was still character driven and had a good script and plot the acting was very believable and credible the family and I enjoyed it thoroughly
Yes, I recommend this movie.

With all of the marketing build up and large budget this movie had the pressure of living up to it's press clippings and audience anticipation
Robert Downey Jr. makes Tony Starks his own
the chemistry between the actors especially DOWNEY and Paltrow jump off the screen the special effects are themselves a co-star if not star in this movie couple with a excellent storyline and well time ad-libs and quips makes for a thoroughly entertaining movie just over two hrs this movie and Mr. Downey keeps your attention from start to finish they will be most definetely be a sequel
