While I enjoyed the movie, I think someone who has not read the books may be a little lost. You certainly would have to have at least saw all the others. Also, the movie had a lot of dull moments where it just seemed to drag on and on.

An absolute great movie! Exceeded my expectations. This was something Star Trek really needed. I can't wait for the next one!
