Visually pleasing and funny

I have to admit that I had my HUH?! moments but overall it was a good movie. It's a movie that keep the surprise coming. The music was great and it was super cute. I gotta say that it was pretty endearing to see that adorably awkward Michael Cera....Love him. If you are into movies that break out of the mold in a good way you've gotta see this movie.

A little endearing movie

I absolutely loved this movie! It was a very cute and it really keep a smile on my face the whole time. It took me back to the good ol times and my first crush. It could have gone a little deeper but I think it was more of a keeping it simple kinda flick. It really takes you to a simple time away from all the commotion that is LA. I have to admit it is a total chick flick but I would love to watch it again.

LOL Fun

Overall a very fun movie, it was completely different than what I expected and had a few Huh? momments. I loved all the cameos it really felt like a very long episode of SNL. It's not for every one that's for sure since its a bit out there. Enjoyed it overall.

Angelina does not disappoint!

Finally a fantastic summer movie! I was into this movie all the way through. For a female actor Angelina surpasses her male counter parts. She really takes a lot of abuse in the movie which was really surprising to see. As an action star she really goes all out. I really hope that this becomes a franchise, I would love to see more Salt. The plot and action really supplemented the each other, not too much intrigue but overall very well put together. I would like to see more movies like this out there, worth every penny I spent to watch it.

Overall pretty enjoyable

I have to say that I was not expecting this movie to be at all enjoyable but being a big Disney fan it was a must watch for me. The only thing I really disliked about this film was the casting of the apprentice. I thought that everything else fit pretty well. I really liked the special effects and Nic Cage was pretty fun to watch. I would have liked to see less of the love story and more of the action stuff. I also thought that scene that plays tribute to the Disney classic was great. If I had a choice between Airbender and this I would choose Apprentice. Since its a better movie overall.

Funf or the whole family!

You can never go wrong with Steve Carell and Julie Andrews on the bill. I took my beautiful five year old niece and we both had a blast. It was very funny and cute. It did have quite a few shock and aaah moments on top with some pretty cool dialogue. I still believe that Dragon overall was a better movie but this was a close second. Out of everything out right now this is the one that you will get your moneys worth.

Too much of nothing good

I have not read the books or watched the cartoon, but I'm sure it was way better than the movie. The movie had a lot of potential but I it was serious overkill. Too many characters the plot was all over the place the acting was not the greatest. I saw it in 3D and I have to day that it delivered in that sense the effects were ok. I was very disappointed and it is very likely that I will not be watching the planned future movies. Would not recommed it to anyone since overal the movie was poorly put together.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Beyond pleased with this movie!

I have always found it difficult to love a movie based on a book you love. This movie for me was a terrific movie that represents the book but is also great and able to stand on it's own. The plot and flow of the movie were perfect, the characters and their chemistry were wonderful. Also it does not hurt to have a little eye candy and plenty of action. I would have loved this movie even if I had not previously read the book. It's about time hey get a movie based on a book right. It's a must watch for the summer flick.

Action packed and lots of fun

I was really looking forward to watching this movie since I saw the trailer. I gotta say it really was worth the wait. It's fun and very different and it will stand out from the usual action movie. I was also very surprised that it was as funny as it was. And the one thing I have to say about Tom Cruise is that he was great in this role, very very charming. I was entertained from beggining to end.

Worth the 10 year wait!

I absolutely loved the first and second movie so I couldn't wait to see this movie. I was very pleased with the movie. It really brought back some really great memories(I was in my teens for the first two) and made me a bit nostalgic. I really loved the heart warming plot ,it was smart sweet and very funny. The best part for me with out giving out too much is a few scenes with Buzz' alter ego. I also can't deny the fact that I was so touched with the film that I dropped a few tears. Overall I would recommend this movie for the whole family!
