If you want to go to a movie and just to sit down and laugh, then this is your movie. Set aside your evaluating the actors/actresses and just enjoy. It will remind you that what we had in the 50s & 60s as activities while growing up has been lost in an electronic world of games and activities, and how important imagination and friendships were in our lives. This was an original and not a remake - well worth watching.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
