A Wonderful Film

This film is one of the best I've seen for a long time. It is a good story well told, and it works on many different levels. The touching relationship that develops between the King and his therapist is only one aspect of the story. The film also either hints at or outright shows the gulf between Royalty and the common man. At the same time, it suggests the challenges, personal and professional, of being brought up royal.Bottom line, this is a film of the first order. Do not miss it!

Showcase Well Worth the Day

This was the first showcase I attended, but it sure won't be the last. What a great idea for those of who love movies and are fans of the Oscars. It is a long day, but worth it. I liked the order and variety in the films shown. I didn't like seeing the same ads over and over. Either change ads or don't show them.

Amazing

Avatar 3D is an experience in total immersion and unlike any other movie experience I've ever had. From the beginning, the movie creates a reality all its own. I'm not sure just how much 3D contributes to this, but am extremely glad that I saw it in 3D. To an extent, the plot and even characters are recycled from other stories, but the whole environment of the film offsts that which in another movie would be "ho hum". I think this will be known as a breakthrough film in much the same way Star Wars was when it came out so many years ago. I feel this is a not-to-be-missed movie and MUST be seen in a theater for the full effect. Amazing movie!
