Even in Imax, Not Impressed

I loved Transformers and Ironman but I was just not impressed. Yes, it was by DC comics vs. Marvel, so it's darker than the blockbuster hits of last summer. I'm sure it had a lot to do with the time frame it's set in ('50s and '70's) and the fact that I am not a comic book fan. The movie was way longer than it needed to be, with excessive nudity and violence. The idea was decent, but just wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I haven't read the books yet, but now that I've seen the movie, I most definitely will! Loved the movie! Very well done and I thought they developed the characters very well so that you actually feel something instead of jumping into the middle and not connecting.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
