A Dark and Stormy Knight

A dark, nasty, brooding, manic depressive film about crime, heroism, sanity, and purpose that outdoes every superhero movie since Superman. Richard Donner may have redefined the genre in 1978, and Tim Burton may have helped in 1989, but Nolan has plumbed the comic book film's uncharted depths and come up smiling maniacally. Heath Ledger more than deserves an Oscar, and not just because he's dead. He deserves it because I've already started to forget Jack Nicholson's Joker. This is one dark, dark knight. Why so serious indeed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
