Only the most ardent Potter fans will give this film rave reviews. There were a few well-done effects, but overall, this edition lacked the sheer excitement and novelty of past efforts and was somber and poorly lit throughout. The dialogue was often too low in volume and sometimes muttered as if it didn't matter. The HP hardcores will find Half-Blood a must-see for the Hermione-Harry smooch and the fate of Dumbledore, but I found the whole thing rather SOSO (same-old-same-old) and dozed off a few minutes, unfortunately before the big kiss scene--I'll catch it on YouTube....Bosco.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
