You really get lost in the story and beautiful Pandora landscape, which makes the time fly by. The only thing I would have added was some sort of chest covering on the lead female character. Not much was left to the imagination in the indegenous population wardrobe department.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I've never watched any of the other Star Trek movies, or was ever interested enough to sit through any of the old TV shows, but you don't need to know the Star Trek history to enjoy this movie. Everything about it was great...the actors, the story, and the special effects!

Disappointing

I was disappointed, as I usually enjoy Dreamworks' movies. Out of the 13 friends that I saw this movie with, only the 4 year old really liked it. Yes, it has some funny spots, and the 3D effects were pretty good, but the plot appeals more to the grade school crowd.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
