Doesn't live up to the hype

The promotion of this movie killed it. It didn't live up to the hype. It was good, but it wasn't great. Batman begins was great. As a matter of fact this one only surpasses Batman & Robin on the scale of Batman movies. Heath Ledger pulls of his role as a maniacally, demented joker but that's about it. There was not enough Batman for this to be a batman movie. Maggie Gyllenhal is a better actress than Katie Holmes, but not cute enough to play oposite the playboy Bruce Wayne portrayed by pretty bou Christian Bale. I expected to walk out of the theatre dying for the next chapter, but I could care less at this point. And seriously, can we do away with the gruff and over computerized batman voice!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
