Best Star Trek in Years!

I went into this film not expecting much. How wrong I was! J.J. Abrams finds a way to enable future Star Trek movies with this new cast while at the same time not degrading the original property. I won't give away any spoilers but, rest assured, it works within the Star Trek universe.
The cast was absolutely fantastic in their renditions of already established characters. It seemed that they each went out of their way to capture the essence of the characters without doing a silly caricature of the original actors' portrayals. Overall, I found nothing bad about this movie. Star Trek fans will find many little references for their enjoyment, while viewers who may not be as familiar with the franchise will still be able to jump right in.
