Disney never disappoints. As always took my five grandchildren ages 3 - 9 to see it in 3-D. Everyone was enthralled from the opening of the story, as told by Flynn, to the closing line. The five year old was so into it I thought she would fall off her chair laughing so hard. The story of Rapunzel was told as only Disney can.
I, as most of the audience, actually laughed out loud not in just one scene, but several scenes. Seriously. It's very entertaining. The characters we've come to love as well as the new characters introduced made the fourth installment in the Shrek series one of the best. I took two of my grandchildren to see it and they followed and understood the movie. I plan on seeing it again with my five other grandchildren! 3D is the best.
Although I enjoyed the movie, I thought very pertinate info from the book was left out. I was most excited about seeing this movie because it was the first of the Harry Potter books I read before seeing the movie. Also, it ended too abruptly for me. There was more involved. As for the 3D, I thought that was unbelievable, but way too short. We got it for Disney's A Christmas Carol preview and like 10 minutes of the movie. I was disappointed. I could have watched the entire movie in 3D.
