My 9 and 6 year olds read the book and they couldn't wait to see the movie. I was a little uncomfortable with the scene of the older brother looking at a motorcycle mag with a bikini clad model on the front cover but, other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
